^{VISIT US THIS FRIDAY ON THE DOWNTOWN TROLLEY HOP AT WILTSHIRE ON MARKET}

As many of you are aware, not only is Quito Louisville’s second oldest Sister Cities relationship, Kentucky is partnered with Ecuador through the Partners of the Americas (POA) program.  We are very fortunate to be able to host an embroidery artisan, Imelda In`~~Nuca, in Louisville through a grant from POA.  Imelda will arrive in Louisville this week and will offer workshops in many local schools.  In addition she will have her embroideries on display and for sale during Trolley Hop on this Friday, December 4th from 5:30-8:30 pm in the upstairs gallery at Wiltshire on Market, 636 East Market Street.   In the spring Ms. Inuca’s embroideries will be on display at the National Embroidery Museum (here in Louisville) along with those of other indigenous artists from Ecuador.  We will be sure to let you know the dates of that exhibit as soon as they are set.
