In January 2003, Sister Cities of Louisville added six new program committees to its organizational structure: Education, Arts and Culture, Municipal, Tourism, Economic Development, and Medical.
These committees give operational support to the Sister Cities committees for setting up programs and exchanges. SCL is striving to recruit people from the Greater Louisville Community who are already actively involved in these areas. These committees will assist in helping SCL create new travel opportunities for Greater Louisville.
